If It's Monday, This Must Be Christmas
Houston Premier Holiday Comedy by Pat Cook
Friday November 6 to Saturday December 5, 2009
Directed by Laura Schlecht & Judy Reeves as Asst. Director
In this screwball detective comedy, a cast of 12 zany characters try to collar a thief before Christmas is ruined for everyone. It's Christmas Eve at Harrigan's department store and all of the bonuses have gone missing. "Apparently somebody had been stirring. Something of a louse." And if that weren't bad enough, the store's Santa is nowhere to be found in spite of the line of kids that's quickly forming. What, oh what is a store manager to do?

Enter Harry Monday, here to... um... er... save the day? Not only is he a notary public and dog walker, but private investigator is also on his list of talents. However, if Harry wants to solve this one before the reindeer come home, he's going to have act quickly and muddle his way through an untrusting store owner, a smooth talking con man and a lieutenant who's been out to get him since day one.

What happened to Santa? Who took the money? Was it the young store clerk looking to set up a life for him and his lady love? Was it the flirtatious gift wrapper wanting a little extra excitement? Perhaps the store owner is behind it. Can we say insurance fraud? Then again, the rival store owner did show up at a most opportune time. Or could it be that jolly old St. Nick, himself, made off with the dough? Can Harry solve this mystery in time to ensure a happy holiday for all?
